At the same time we are also releasing the new Windows C++ cross-platform compatible library onto the Debenu Labs website along with the Android PDF SDK version, Debenu Quick PDF Library for Android.
There may be some confusion as to why we have two different Windows versions (one on Debenu Labs and one on the main Debenu website). For years the Debenu Quick PDF Library source code was written in Delphi, but over the past 18 months we have been developing a C++ code base as well to ensure that we can provide a fully cross-platform compatible PDF library for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android (plus other emerging platforms). We will continue to develop the Delphi and C++ versions of our library and support all of the current editions and platforms that we currently support. We are simply increasing our focus to support a wider range of languages features and platforms.
The C++ source code will eventually (by the end of the year) be used to produce the DLL, ActiveX and LIB editions that we provide for the Windows version of the library and Delphi will be used to produce the Delphi version only.
The beta Windows C++ version and the Android version can be downloaded below and the non-beta Windows version, along with the Mac and iOS verisons can be downloaded from the product updates page.
|Windows (32-bit/64-bit)||ActiveX, DLL||Download|
|Android (API 15, Android 4.0.3 or newer)||Static and Dynamic Lib||Download|
Please note: EMF functionality is not included in Android builds and digital signature support is currently only supported on Windows but will be supported on Android in the next beta.
To help us to further improve the new cross-platform version of the library we need your feedback.
